The William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre (WBRC) was recognised this week for its high international standards in care.

Its stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic ablative radiotherapy program gained a ‘Novalis Certification' for cancer care - an Australian-first accreditation.

Presenting the accreditation certificate, Professor Timothy Solberg from the University of Pennsylvania joined WBRC Director A/Prof Jeremy Millar, Radiation Oncologist, Dr Jeremy Ruben, and Radiation Therapy Manager, Leigh Smith.

Professor Solberg said, "As Asia/Pacific's first Novalis Certified Centre, WBRC joins a group of leading oncology centres from across the globe."
