Alfred Health is celebrating Cultural Diversity Week and highlighting the importance of support for non-English speaking patients and their families, including culturally sensitive information and access to interpreters.
The week is held annually to coincide with the United Nations International day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on 21 March, otherwise referred to as Harmony Day.
It is an opportunity for the broader community and organisations such as Alfred Health to celebrate the benefits that multiculturalism brings to all of our lives.
