Collingwood footballer Marty Clarke and Alfred emergency registrar Jamie Roberts took time out of their busy schedules this week to draw attention to The Alfred’s annual tin shake for men’s health.
More than 200 navy personnel from HMAS Cerberus, together with members of Rotary Malvern, will collect donations at tonight’s (29 August) hotly contested Collingwood vs Hawthorn match at the MCG.
Now in its 12th year, the annual tin shake is part of The Alfred’s Father’s Day Appeal. This year, funds raised through the appeal will go towards the redevelopment of The Alfred’s emergency & trauma centre.
The redevelopment will see an expansion of clinical areas and further improve diagnostic and treatment times.
